CMA Hybrid Course Starts June 11

Take the Clinical Medical Assistant Course Both Online and in Person

This 10-week course will prepare you to perform patient clinical skills in a medical office setting.

In the course, you will: 

  • Learn fundamental clinical procedures
  • Meet your 140 hours of classroom lecture and hands-on lab requirement
  • Gain hands-on experience through a 160-hour clinical externship

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to sit for the NHA CCMA Exam. You will also be eligible to apply for the UCSF Medical Assistant Trainee Academy.

CMA Graduates: Apply to UCSF Medical Assistant Trainee Academy after Spring 2024 Program Completion

Beginning in spring 2024, upon successful completion of the Clinical Medical Assistant course, students may have the opportunity to join the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Assistant Trainee Academy. If accepted, students will receive comprehensive training, practical experience and competitive compensation. Online students must have completed an externship before applying.
