Prerequisites: CHEM 215* and CHEM 216* with grades of C or better. Intended for Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology majors. Foundation course in analytical chemistry with a focus on quantitative analysis. Topics include uncertainties, statistics, equilibria, titrimetric methods, electrochemistry and potentiometry, molecular and atomic spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, and chromatography.
