Professor Michael Green and Ann Sartori Scholarship

After retiring from the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at St. Louis University Medical School, Professor Michael Green taught in the Post-Bac Program at SFSU from fall 2015 to fall 2017. While he mentored hundreds of medical and graduate students during his long career, he often mentioned his time at SFSU as one of his favorite teaching experiences.

Ann Sartori was a Montessori-certified preschool teacher for many years. In 1986, she graduated from St. Louis University Law School and was admitted to the Missouri Bar Association. She now lives in San Francisco and enjoys spending time with her children, Josh and Sarah, and her two grandchildren.

The scholarship honors the memory and impact of Professor Michael Green by providing ongoing support for highly motivated and deserving students in the Pre-Health Professions Certificate Program.
