- Applicants must have completed at least 56 units of university coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Applicants must provide official evidence of English proficiency as listed here: English Proficiency Requirement.
- Students must have a statistics course equivalent to DS 212, ECON 311 or MATH 124 and an information systems course equivalent to ISYS 263.
- To take the economics courses in the certificate, students would need to have the equivalent of ECON 101 and ECON 102.
- Students admitted conditionally will be expected to complete the missing coursework in order meet necessary prerequisite requirements.
Optional Practical Training offers international students the opportunity to work up to one full year in the United States after nine months of full-time study. Please confirm eligibility for OPT with the admissions coordinator.
Tuition, mandatory/miscellaneous, and optional fees will be finalized and posted after the ‘Deadline for full refund’ as listed in the Calendar and Deadlines for the term. Full payment of tuition and fees must be received by the deadline provided by Center of Global Education.
In the case of third party payment, the party responsible for payments should send an Authorization to Bill letter to cgeadmin@sfsu.edu. SF State will send invoices to the third party after census date. All tuition and fees will appear in the student center until payment is processed/received.
